Queen’s Comedy RIP

After twenty-five years of comedy, on Wednesday 7th of March, we ended one of Belfast’s longest running and in our eyes, the best comedy club to rest.

First started by Colin Murphy in February 1993, the club has had everyone who is anyone in the last twenty-five years of comedy play. Al Murray, Dylan Moran, Peter Kay, Corky and the Juice Pigs, Sarah Millican, Richard Ayoade, Kevin Bridges, Nina Conti, Phill Jupitus, Jenny Eclair, Ed Byrne, Adam Hills, Alan Carr, John Bishop, Russell Howard, Jason Byrne, Andrew Maxwell, David O’Doherty, John Richardson, Joe Lycett, Aisling Bea, Ardal O’Hanlon, Tommy Tiernan, Sara Pascoe, Zoe Lyons, Reg D Hunter, to name just a few.

The final show was headlined by one of our favorites Jason Byrne with support from Chris Kent and of course, the man that started it all, compere Colin Murphy. Check out some of the pictures from the night below.
